I was born and raised in Austin, Texas.  Last year I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Studio Art from Texas Tech University.  My emphasis is in painting.  While at Tech, I changed my major several times.  I started out as a Fashion Design major and switched to Photography.  In the summer of 2006, I had the opportunity to study abroad.  My instructor, Michael Collins, suggested I combine my photography with painting.  The Italian architecture and countryside provided me with the perfect backdrop to begin painting.  The knowledge I obtained in each of these fields can be found in my work through a blend of paint, fashion and photography.

Currently, I am back in Lubbock, Texas seeking my second degree from Texas Tech.  I am pursuing a teaching certificate and hope to return to Austin in the near future.  I will continue my love of art whether it be painting, photography, fashion design or teaching.
